Heather Goddard started working in restaurants at 15 to save for her first car. After earning a Master’s in Instructional Systems Design, she taught ESOL for nine years while working at an Italian restaurant, where she met her husband Francisco. In 2012, they opened Café Bueno, and Heather left teaching in 2018 to focus on the business and their growing family. Now, she also serves as president of the Board of Directors for East Frederick Rising, a nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing the East Side of Frederick.
